I found this online Friday. Was originally looking at some Xotic XSC’s and couldn’t sing the right color/price combination. I started scouring the internet for Japanese boutique stores that accept either PayPal or AmazonPay since it’s really hard to used a foreign issued card for online purchases. So, I find one that had and Xotic XSC2 listed on another site, but when I went to the site, it was sold. So, I start looking around the site and I see this amazing top. Didn’t know much about the 594, so I listed to a few clips and pulled out my wallet. Truley an impulse buy. The next 2 days simply reinforced my decision. The description was pretty cookie cutter from what I typically seen it said it’s a used instrument and may have minor scrapes or dents, please refer to the pictures, blah blah blah
I got it today and the packing was the best I’ve seen. I pile the case out and it’s spotless. Open it up and it looks mint af. They had a makeshift fret protector made from paper carefully wrapped around the strings. I get it unwrapped and inspect the front and back and the guitar is beyond mint. I found nothing. No microswirls, dings, scratches, anything! It’s cleaner than most new guitars that I’ve gotten.
Sonically, it total destroys my 1958 reissue. The setup phenomenal no wouldn’t change a thing.
