50's Roadworn tele

Tried one of these the other day and it was a lot of fun. Into a BE-100 it was rock n roll sex! Might not be the shreddiest of guitars with its old school radius but pays off with effort. Found one used on GC site and had to pounce. Hopefully should have it soon. This pic is not the actual one.

Also treated myself to Wah shootout between a RMC Wheels of Fire and a Fulltone Clyde Deluxe. Loser gets returned.

GC just changed to another company for their financing and it paid off. Instead of the usual 6 months for used gear I got 18.

Pfft, a tele bridge going full bore into a distorted amp is pretty pissed sounding though. Beautiful guitar, how does the worn in finish feel on these? I have an EJ strat and that thing was like fly paper for the first month, it's still a little sticky.

The worn/relic'd feel was very comfy. Not a fan of a high gloss Fender neck.
