Since I got my Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 with the Roasted (aka Caramelized) neck last year, I fell in love with Charvel and roasted necks. I've been scouring the interwebs in search of roasted anything when this beauty popped up at The Music Zoo.
NOTE: This also cemented the return the Marshall 20W JCM800 once this thing popped up last week.

It arrived today. SIMPLY BRILLIANT
This one has a roasted maple neck and fretboard plus a roasted mahogany body. I don't think I'd ever seen or heard of roasted mahogany body. It looks great, pictures do it no justice. The Mahogany is darker and more chocolatey in person, the camera and lighting seems to make it look a little brighter than it really is.

Plays like pure butter and sounds full and rich and powerful. It's my first USA Charvel and just feels great, like an old pair of your favorite jeans, just feels right.
I will probably end up doing a video review of this one and the DK24 together.

That is sexy as f**k. No neon BS, just nice wood! Congrats man!

Thanks you dudes. I’m blown away, I need to add to that blown away thread I guess.

Yep, love the hardtail, I have the DK24 2pt blocked.
This is just about perfect specs if I were to order a custom shop. Fixed bridge, HS pickup config, mahogany. I like the gold hardware and it matches well, but I would never choose that. But that’s minor stuff.

Nice score! I was tempted to grab this one myself. The gold hardware is the only thing I would have spec'd out differently.

Looking forward to the video demo/review.

beautiful. I have one of the TMZ naturals (not roasted).

Very hot! I may be in the market for a Charvel soon and that one would have been very high on my list. Hardtail and H/S.
