All I can say is wow...This thing is amazing
Awesome story on this one. If any of you have been searching for Charvels on ebay this one was up last week for $2900. Through my compulsive gc shopping(I check their used site every morning with my coffee) I spotted the exact guitar and it had just arrived. I was curious so I called the store, got pics and matched them to the guitar on ebay, same guitar... I put it on hold while I sorted things out( oddly enough I almost bought this guitar from the ebay seller a few days prior!) Contacted the ebay seller and got his side of what happened and he immediately pulled the ad. He sold the guitar on friday last week outside ebay and forgot to pull the ad.

Apparently a customer of his wanted this guitar real bad even when the shop owner recommended it wasn't his type of guitar. They worked out some trade etc and the guy didnt like it, shop wouldnt take a return and viola, Ends up at guitar center less than 2 days after he bought it.

It's literally brand new and I got it for waaaaayyyyy less than I was already willing to pay lol.
I've owned many high end( middle end guitars to the likes of most of you) from PRS, Gibson, Suhr, and lots of EBMM and Wolfgangs. The build quality of this guitar far exceeds anything I've owned thus far. I'll probably take some better pics at some point but right now I'm enjoying this one

Yup, Ive scored many deals but not like this. The guy bought it new and took a HUGE loss 2 days later.

The quilt is gorgeous in person. Hard to photograph in my bedroom with a dim light lamp lol. This is crazy heavy with a mahogany body, Im so used to the tiny lightweight wolfgangs lol

Looks badass!!!! Great find. I do the same thing every morn before I get cranking at work (cup of coffee + sifting through the used pages of 'just arrived' at GC).

There is something extremely refined and magical about the Charvel Custom shop necks. I have/had some nice guitars over the years, from US pro-mods, J Custom, US Custom shop Ibanez, etc, and none of them has the smooth, melt in your hand grace both the fretboard and in particular, the back of the neck the Charvel CS has. Keeping mine forever.

900 less than the retail lol. Even though it is technically a new guitar, obviously had to be sold for a used price through GC. I am really loving this thing. Getting used to the wide/flat neck though, so used to the wolfgangs and evh's. Its funny putting this side by side with my wolf, it makes the wolf look like little guitar

$3k for a custom spec'd guitar is definitely a value now a days. This ones retail was right around the $3k point and is way nicer than any off the wall gibson or paul I've had/played(sorry gibby and paul lovers) Wish I had known about the quality they were putting out sooner. Ive had alot of vintage Charvels in the past and a few weeks ago one of the evh art series(which are pretty sweet too) but overlooked getting the custom shop stuff bc of their lower end stuff on the market. Then I saw the story of the Charvel custom shop and how its most the same employees and same machines etc and started looking...

Just got mine from CS.shop.My best guitar out of all my metal, rock, pop guitars or whatever was my Custom tele w/ Brad Paisley mods, but... that may all change...this charvel rips and the neck is very comfy..
