Arrived today, love the finish and plays great, needs setup, will be my weekend project.

I’vebeen wanting a Charvel for a while, love all the new varieties they’re doing and ever since I saw the NAMM videos in January, I’ve been on just about every waiting list. One popped up In Stock on Reverb, so pulled the trigger. Really love the finish, in person it’s like a yellow highlighter color, but not shiney, great matte finish.

I was only able to play for about 30 minutes, but I thought they sounded great. Ran through some old 80’s metal with my Shiva 20th and it was sounding pretty mean.

Very cool! I played one at NAMM and it felt great, but it was real heavy - how's yours?

It’s super light. It came in a cardboard box and was so light I didn’t believe it had a guitar inside. Definitely packed on the low-end side. It was just wrapped in a soft foam bag and inside the box. Anyway, I’ll try to weigh it

Why oh why do they have pickup mounting rings? Would look way cooler without.

Charvel OG pedigree is deck mounted Kahler/Floyd, pickup rings and single hum, single vol only. Satchel knows what’s up. The Charvel Japans and some Mexico don’t have the rings.

I love Charvels!!!!!! The two I got rid of in the past, I regret. I had a DeMartini "Blood and Skulls" and a slime green, both USA. I just picked up the "Frenchie" DeMartini from Padrebonic and love it!!! They just play so great!

Love the bright color on that Satchel!
