Actually I wanted to downsize and successfully sold some 6 guitars and 2 amps, but then this comes up and it's an absolute STEAL

It's a reissue post Fender 2005 US Charvel, within the 6xxx Serials

You can feel the quality when you grab it, feels better than the ProMods/US production guitars. Neck is more beefy than I remember my Model 3A from the 80s. That 3A was my first decent guitar, and it was the same colour, so I am up to some nostalgia too!

Guitar resonates and sings, I am surprised it's a Floyd, it's very thick. Only issue is I have no cab here so can't play it plugged
I did play it at the seller's on his cube and it absolfreakingly rockkkked

EDIT: Clips added

1st clip with a Santana-ish backing track:

2nd Clip with some Scorpions backing:

3rd clip is just the amp sound with the Korg in the loop:

Excellent choice sir!

...and the best pickup configuration.

hmmmmmm .... do you guys think the pickups/frame should be cream?

Like that color man...bitchin blue!

Leave those rings black.

Looks sick. I just picked up a newer San Dimas for a steal myself... they can't be beat for the value/money ratio that they offer. I'm big into my Suhr Modern, but these guitars hold their own...

 Agreed. Leave it as is.

Ok you guys know your shit, so I'll leave it 100% original for now. Can't mess with perfection

:::DROOL:::

...and I do that as never having been a pointy fan...but that thing is KILLER, congrats. And a +1 to the "best pup config" comment.

Thanks you Sir.

Anyone got any idea what that neck pickup is?

The only one I could find on the duncan site that looks like this would be a YJM Sig?

It has 12.6KOhm on my MM

As for pickup, it may be a Duncan Stack if it's original.

Here's the 2005 price guide with factory specs:

Yeah it's original, and it must be stacked, as it has 4 wires. Only one I see on the SD website with such a base plate seems to be the YJM though, can it be?

Thanks loads for the price list. That makes it a whopping 2269$ - if you knew what I paid you'd shit yourselves :D

killer! big fan of the pointy's here, I have 2. Yours looks killer!

Happy NGD

Not to highjack, but the early/mid-80s Peavey Nitros were a fantastic USA pointy as well. Tough to find nowadays, but generally cheap when you do.

Awesome score...love it. Looks cool as-is but would also look sick with creme pups/ring. You could always try it out and return it to original if you don't care for it. Charvels and modding go together like hookers and blow

Right on man. Looks killer. I like pointy. It's metal and the non pointy fans can bite me. :D
