Thanks. This is the first year I didn't owe taxes so yes, I am on a spree. It seems to be a buyers market now.

What a sweet looking guitar. My preferred config too (HH, Deck mount Floyd, Vol & 3 way) If only that neck were Roasted it would be perfect IMHO

I wrote a review on the Facebook Charvel page comparing Chubtone vs Custom Shop Charvel vs Luxxtone. I'll post in a different thread, but in short the Chubtone is on par with the custom shop in every category. The Luxxtone to me has a slight advantage on fret edges, although all are exceptional. Jerry is the artist technician for Charvel, Fender, and several other companies.

This...and it's not even close.

When you can get a new Chubtone for 1600, it's really no contest. Luxx and Charvel Customs are great guitars, I have a regular old 08 USA So Cal that is magic, and will never leave...
But a Chub is on the short list to order.....

Very clean sexy fretwork on the Luxxtone, but the lbottom one looks great as well. Glad to know they are all up there, I'd love to see some here in Eu.
