NGD Customized G&L Rampage

I thought I'd post about this project I had done recently

My Blue Dress Rampage is tits!! I really like the looks of it too. So I wanted to do something similar to one of my other Rampage's, and my plain ivory Rampage was a blank canvas just sitting there. It took some time to get the decals, and find the right guy to do the clear coating. I just picked it up 12/31, and it turned out really great too. He did a beautiful job on the finish. I also replaced the stock volume pot with a Bourns 95 500k, and changed the pickup to a Motor City Afwayu. It was a lot of fun getting it done and seeing it come together, and I thought the price was pretty reasonable too. It took longer than I expected... and the closer it got near to being done, my ideas for the artwork progressed to something else. I'll enjoy it for a time, but eventually a version 2.0 will be done over this.

The decals and water slides are from the good guys at greasy groove!!

How much did it cost to get this done (a PM is ok if you don't want to post it)? I snagged an ivory Superhawk this fall.

I was thinking about picking up a black one and having this done but I'm over that for the moment.

If I remember right the mesh decals were $35 each, and the water slides were $25 each. Then my guitar finish guy charged me $250 to apply them and clear it.

I agree, version 2.0 will be a black and white image, from top to bottom...already in the works

Nice! I'm a huge Cantrell fan and have an 87 Rampage that was routed to a two hum, and I've always thought of getting some JC style decals, with my own twist. Super awesome! Is that a JJ100 in the background? I have a BE100 and I've been obsessing over the JJ for a while....

Those Rampages are gorgeous! I just bought one myself and am looking to do that same custom application (the squares / circles background). I tried Greasy Grooves like you did, but they sent me a note that they can no longer produce them. Any ideas on where else to find them?

Man, I love my ASAT but it is literally the only G&L I have ever spent time with. The Ramage is one I would love to check out.

I felt inspired by the OP's work, so I did one of my own. Thanks for the inspiration! I got a signs place here locally to print out a design I got from a very cool YouTuber who made something similar. Hope everyone likes it!
