An iconic guitar for me because Jeff used it with Beck Bogart Appice. An all- time favorite band of mine. I had Sweetwater Plek it.
Their 55 point inspection is a joke and despite giving them specific set-up instructions, I had to totally set it up myself.
Sounds and plays great. I haven’t owned many Les Pauls in my guitar playing life, so it will take a bit of getting used to. Nice chunky neck too.
Got 9-42 on it, but I may put on 8’s as Jeff used back then.

Yeah by 59 Standards were like the 2nd Gen or 3rd Gen or iteration of the Inspired by Gibson line so they have the Kalamazoo headstock and on the open book one but still fucking amazing......

I imagine these newer ones are better using a once piece neck and all and Gibson frets too along with other touches..... I think they use lasers and a computer and shit to get a sample of the guitar they are emulating too.

IME all the ones I played were more or less carbon copies of each other so super consistent too.

I really dislike guitars with that bridge I've dubbed the "failpiece" but otherwise that thing is super hot

Lots of aftermarket tailpieces (compensated or adjustable) tailpieces can correct that design flaw.

Yeah I know; I don't mind the ones that have the little zig zag imprinted in to them as much, but they still don't feel quite right to me under the hand compared to a TOM/Stop tail setup

And of course most Les Paul purists who own a guitar like that would think its absolute sacrilege to change the bridge at all
