Nice, I love the 57,66 set in my ltd Viper 1000! I've had them in there since the 57 and 66 were released and they ain't going nowhere.

The thinner body had no impact on the sound: I had two and both sounded massive. I'm sure yours does too. And I thought they were really comfortable.

I tried the ltd 1000 version of the Eclipse and I thought the thinner body did have an effect on the tone a little bit when I compared it with a full thickness Viper. The Viper's are closer to an LP tone wise IMO.

Never tried the ltd 401 but I guess it's a good model!

It's a good guitar for the price they go for.
