Thomann had a special offer - 590 euros for this B stock LTD M 1001 NT - paid express delivery so a few hours later it was here in Athens!
I mean it's a killer axe not only for the price I paid! I love the finish and it feels and plays great! It's made in Korea not Indonesia if that makes a difference haha
Bolt on neck construction with a 25.5" scale length.
Alder body with a Charcoal Burst finish on a flamed maple top.
3-piece extra-thin U-shaped maple neck with a Macassar ebony fingerboard (24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets).
TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body design for incredible sustain.
Direct-mounted active EMG 81TW pickup (bridge) with push/pull volume control for coil splitting and LTD locking tuners.

I recorded sth quick - NAM A2 profile ENGL Savage MKII 120 - Bogner Uber 412 custom made IR - and it sounds like this.

Congrats. Has good clarity and bite in that clip. Does it have a volute on the neck? I had the LTD Viper, the neck was my favorite part. Super stable and fast playing.

Man I wish I could go to Greece.....

The stainless fretwork on the Viper 1000 was flawless, the board felt great, the tonepros is a great bridge, and the locking tuners were killer. Even hitting a lot of bends I wouldn't have to tune the guitar for 3 weeks at a time, lol. I hope you have great luck with it.

Athens, Patras, Crete, and Samos are on my Greek bucket list. Me and the wife wanna go as soon as we get the $, whenever that is. I even thought about buying a cheap place in the islands for the 90 day Schengen stay. I can't quite afford a golden visa. Our top destination followed by Montenegro and Serbia. Lemme know if there are any other places I should look at. There seems to be many good spots and Greek food is tops!!!
