I've always wanted one, as I am a huge early EVH fanatic, but didn't think they'd be that good.

I just wanted one for the sake of nostalgia, but these guitars are pretty damn awesome.

Nice! I've been wanting one for a while now. Even though with three Tom Andersons vying for my attention, I know the EVH won't get played every day... I would like like one to get my VH rocks off and look great doing it.

My Yngwie strat doesn't get played much either... but it's still cool to have. Would also like a white Charvel with a black pickguard to play "Bark At The Moon" on and/or a red Charvel to play Night Ranger stuff on.

Had a bumblebee. Nice guitar, played as well as the MIJ Charvel I had at the time. That guitar was way better to me than the few MIM Charvels I've played. Even though the EVH is MIM. Go figure.

Andertons was blowing out those guitars super cheap a few weeks back. My friend got one, but he sold it off.

I love the black headstock & Charvel decal on the bumblebee.

So tempted to that that myself if I can pick one up cheap.

Yes they are. Also super under rated. Enjoy and congrats!

Is that a Kramer logo on yours? How did you get the EVH logo off?

I modified it a little bit.

I sanded the headstock, taking off the gloss & EVH logo. Then I put on a Kramer decal I bought off ebay & sprayed a thin layer of gloss on top.

I shimmed he neck so I can now pull up on the bar.

I sanded & cleaned the neck & applied tru oil & gun-stock wax so it feels smoother & doesn't get dirty.

The fret edges were a little sharp so I did a heavy roll on both sides & they feel nice & smooth.

Just a few mods! Must play great now though! True Oil + wax is how EBMM does it.

You rolled the neck yourself? I'd like to try that. How did you do it?

I do that to all my guitars now. Feels super sleek & fast & doesn't get dirty.

After playing the unfinished EVH guitar for an hour, the entire neck started getting black & gummy.

With the oil/wax combo, it sounds the same, but feel faster & doesn't get dirty.

Just buy a fret end file from StewMac

$450. That's brand new and shipped. They sold them pretty quick.
