NGD: Fender Custom Shop Strat

Pulled the trigger in Ebay for a 2010 Mint Fender Custom Shop 60's NOS Reissue Stratocaster guitar in Nocaster Blonde color, with rosewood board.

I still don't have the guitar, it will ship tomorrow to Miami, and then I will have to bring it back home to Argentina, but I wanted to share some pics as I am pretty excited!

By the way and before anyone asks, it set me back for 2K flat.

Nice! Custom shop fenders get a lot of hate on here for some reason, but my custom shop '63 tele closet classic I got used is really nice, especially since I got some big ass frets put on it :rawk:
 
nice guitar! COnsidering what they are selling the usa ri strats for and even the mex ri , 2 grand for a new custom shop ri is a pretty sweet deal.

I don't think I have the balls to scallop a brand new custom shop strat. Maybe down the road, and only if I find someone competent enough, but its very unlikely

Only thing I will do is swap out the 3 way toggle switch in favor of a 5 way switch. Maybe later I will look into replacing the stock pups for some BKP set. But that depends on how I like the stock ones.

Yeah the 5-way switch for sure. Dude I love the stock PU's, its FENDER! :thumbsup:

The Argentine Babes will be jealous for sure.


Is the tone nice and warm like the color ?
