NGD: Fender

I’ve been itching for a Strat for a while but all of the cool ones have Floyd’s ( which I hate ) . I’ve been looking at these for a while and Fender is blowing them out now @ $799. Why not for a MIJ Fender? My first Strat and my first Fender.

Fixing to fire it up shortly.

So far everything is killer except the player. Lol. Tuning is stable and the bridge pickup doesn’t suck by any means. It’s taking me a while to get used to it, but it’s certainly worth every bit of $800.

I swapped out the bridge in my MIM.
Hardware, electronics, frets, etc are all nice IMO

Update on this one. Spent most of last night playing it. I’ve never had a guitar fight me like this one but it’s a good thing. The tremolo is rock solid and the guitar itself sounds great! I’ve never had a guitar with a useful tone pot on the bridge pickup while playing high gain chugs. This one is like another eq. I abused the shit out of the tremolo and it held perfect tune. If you can grab one? Do it!
