Just picked up a UA Apollo Twin Duo and took the Friedman BE-100 plugin for a spin. It just sounds stupid good. Totally Van Halen in a box. I've only had the Apollo for a few days, but it's absolutely incredible. I should've done this ages ago.

The engl sim is killer too. Actually liked it more.

Thanks guys. Really having a blast with it. I'll have to check out the ENGL plugin too.

What is the cost of the BE plugin?

It's $249 for pack containing the Brown Eye and the Dirty Shirley.

That was just one of the included cabs. I haven't tried using any of the Two Notes or Ownhammer IR's with it yet...mainly because the included ones sound great.

Cool, thanks for the info & great playing

The Friedman VST stuff only works with the Apollo interfaces though. I wish I could use it with my Focusrite :(

Sounds awesome. Great playing too. Let's hear some more!

Hahaha. Not sure if it comes from me not being a native speaker or having watched the third season of Hannibal last week... :D

Many thanks! I had put off upgrading my interface for years and years (had an 002 and then an Eleven Rack) but recently decided to get my little home studio/nerd station to the next level. All of the UA plugins and the internal processing made the Apollo really appealing, and the Friedman VST definitely made the decision that much easier. I haven't had it long, but it's a killer little interface. Highly recommended.

Aside from this, I also just picked up a Two Notes Torpedo Reload, so I'll have a bunch of clips coming soon with both UA VST's and real amps. Until then, here's a clip with the Eleven Rack
