Had this for a few weeks now and just love it. I had been searching for a mahogany superstrat with an Evertune (as I'm tired of alder strats with floyds, and never got along with Les Pauls) and found this builder out of Edmonton, AB here in Canada.

This is the Amethyst prototype model from his web site, although the colour has been toned down to a more transparent black with purple highlights and an oil finish. Just perfect for what I wanted. Has a set of BKP Cold Sweat pickups. Whole guitar is built like a tank with the best parts, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fretboard, 24 jumbo frets, nice volute on the back of the headstock, Hipshot locking tuners, Graphtech nut, schaller strap locks etc... I also love that the volume, tone, switch controls are all well out of the way.
I have to say the Evertune is a dream, takes a little getting used to in setup, but once it's setup, it just does not go out of tune. He sent it to me across from country from Alberta to Ontario, all sorts of temperature changes over 6 days, and right out of the case it was perfectly in tune! I'm already thinking of getting another one.
