Congrats on finding something you love. I love the Kemper and have about 15 profiles I play all the time.

Great clip!!

That tone is heavy and thick as f@#%! I would love to riff on that for a while.

I am still more of a Marshall vintagey high gain kind of guy though.

Thanks, ill see if I can get the profile to share
I just realized the is my first 25.5 fixed bridge axe
Love the clarity & articulation! This axe is fantastic...actually dialed up some cleans and was blown away at the tones-more clips to follow.

What happened to the Guiterrez sub-forum? Not a lot of info online on this line, people need to know

Sounds great Ray!

Did you ever play thru a Herbert?
Was wondering how the profile stacked up?
I hear nothing but good stuff about the Kemper.

Hey Dan!

This was the first time I ever played through a Diezel. I had a mts replica, Eleven Rack rig, and several KPA profiles but never gelled- seemed too dry and articulate for my tastes. But this Herbert in person- whoa! The power and clarity in the room was jaw dropping
Still dry, but the unique positives were so huge it made the amp intoxicating to play.

When you go to record, the nature of a mic going to a board then headphones translates the experience into a focussed clinical environment. How the amp was tweaked, mic placement and so on are being captured. That sound A/B with the profile was indistinguishable- dead on. Whether it works for everyone may depend on how those above variables were presented, as well as signal chain. I noticed my LP with Aftermath and Juggernaut with TAnderson pickups (I used this during the session) were super-great, but my SG with Burstbuckers seemed too dark.

Bottom line- the KPA is a mystical soul stealing machine!

For sure! The Diezels are so HI-FI in person. Love em!
Now you need to get your mitts on a VH4. :D

I owned both the Herbert and the VH4....and I really preffer the VH4. But wouldnt kick any Diezel out of bed.
