This thing is gorgeous, the attention to detail is crazy. Wanted a Hanneman for 20 years and finally found a new one at a moment in time that I can swing it financially. Without further ado……
Not a Floyd fan at all. The cam design of the Kahler is my preference. No screws into the body of the guitar for tension, the Kahler is fully self contained.Really awesome looking axe. Congratulations. How is the Kahler with the FR nut? Best of both worlds?
Thank you!! Yup, I really like the Kahler design. This one is the 2315 tremolo and the has the lock to switch it to a stop tailpiece. My first experience with Kahler was in late 1999, in my King V.Congrats Bro KV, the Hanneman looks abosulutely killer with the Urban Camo......
I wasn't even aware the Kahler was still making tremelos, I just went to their website and it looks like they have really refined the design. I got an early Kahler in the 80's for a Gibson 335 Solid body and the installation wasn't the best. I'm guessing the luthier I used hadn't done too many at that time. I do like the idea of the self containted flush mount Kahler model for strat bodies.
Enjoy the new fiddle!![]()
I personally love camo, this urban camo or regular green camo would have been perfect. Although I did have a Willie Adler urban camo Eclipse, but the camo colors were grey, dark grey and black. It was not my favorite. This one has those 3 colors plus white which gives it more life.not a huge fan of the camo but defo love that bridge![]()
KILLER! I’ve always wanted one of these too. It bugs the shit out of me that the regular EII MII Urban camo they make now has rosewood instead of an ebony board.
