NGD! Ibanez RG652AHM

So the other day while browsing Reverb I saw one of these and I kind of put a low ball/jerkamundo offer on it and the guy accepted it! I got it today and it is in MINT condition. No smudges, scratches, fretwear anything. Absolute perfect condition as if I picked it up from a store. I checked the guys feedback, he bought the guitar brand new just 2 months ago. I might go crazy and get blue/maple guitars all over again.

This thing screams! It's been a long time since I've played an Ash guitar. Not sure if I dig the Tone Zone in the bridge for this wood, but I really need to set it up to my tuning and hook it up right.

Believe it or not it's actually pretty nice. I got it a few years back when they were a bit cheaper. For a similarly spec'd out custom shop it's nearly twice as much now. It plays really well and has a nice tone to it. I wouldn't say it's on par with a real Gibson LPC, but it definitely shines next to $600-1000 guitars I've had.

I've had my eye on one too, unfortunately they're still a little "too new" for used market price to depreciate a lot. Next time you see one on Reverb or Ebay, just put in a cheap offer, you never know.

I wish I bought a bunch more when they were really cheap. I ordered that one in 2011 from their "Custom Shop", cost about $450 and took 11 months. WELL worth it. I spec'd one out the other day it was nearly $800. I might buy one of their cheap basses.

Yea the Tone Zone sucks in this guitar, I removed it and added a Dimarzio Breed and it works very well, also added brass block and quiet springs.
