Got a deal I couldn't resist...so another new Ibanez inbound.

The 80s are back in a big way, cool Transparent Fluorescent Green, reverse headstock, the best floating trem and some very interesting pickups! \m/

Fretwork is flawless (and stainless steel)...all round killer guitar.

That color, with the maple board..looks so awesome!!! I truly believe Ibanez is in a golden age of their guitars, like they were around 87-94.

Yeah, I want a newer model with a Rosewood board though...I have so many Maple...heh

One of those OG fire red 550's with the maple boards, are still on my bucket list.

That is hot! I would have to spend some time with one to determine if it was $1,899 hot however.

Nice! The prestige lines are great instruments. I have 5 JCraft prestiges. I love them. I also have five MIJ jacksons. MIJ is a force to be reckoned with.

It probably is, being a prestige and all that but at a minimum you should score one with an MF or GC 20% coupon.....maybe even 25 if you're lucky :D

$1,500 seems a better deal..though I got my last one - the RF652AHM for under $1k and that's in the same class.

I got mine before they shot up on the used market. I got them all under $550 a piece. I snagged a 1570 for $280, and it's certainly not a dog. I have a 2550, 2570, 3550, and a 3551.

Now that is a fucking nice looking guitar!!!!! I would own one in a second!!!!

wow, that thing is awesome, well done man! how you doing?

I'd rock that fo sho

HNRGR522MTFG Day. Tell me more about the bridge.

HNGD! Great choice! I had a chance to grab one of these as well, some nice high end features for the money and I love the looks of it...the ONLY reason I passed was because I need another super strat like I need a whole in the head lol (so I went for my first LP instead). BUT, if the RG is still avail in a couple of months I may grab it anyway lol - so I hope you can give us more feedback on the pickups after you spend time with it. I'm not a big "name your guitar" guy, but that thing screams "Shrek!"

Congrats and enjoy!

So cool. When I first saw those come out I told my wife - that's what I want for my birthday. I had my buddy check them out at NAMM. He said they were quite righteous. Congrats and please tell us about those pups

This! I got tired of waiting for an Ormsby guitar so I cancelled the order and bought an RG657 Prestige instead. I liked it so much that I sold my PRS Dustie Waring and Charvel Custom Shop guitars and bought three more Japanese RG's. The Super Wizard Neck profile is just perfection for my tastes.

I lost count of how many super Strats I have..but it's a lot!

Man these pickups are dark sounding though...maybe I need to back them off a little height wise.

Settings that would normally cut my head off with treble pretty much remain bearable as I crank the high end...and am in STD tuning.

Swap them out with the pickups of your choice and whammo.

That's the one thing with these guitars; the stock pickups are awful. But then I always end up replacing the stock pickups in any guitar I buy so it's not a problem for me.
