The Floyd posts (old school direct mount) were leaning, just drilled them and doweled the body

Wish I had one of those heavy duty drill presses , they come in handy .

The posts were so loose\leaning, that you couldn't adjust the bridge height. At least they shimmed the neck with 4 pieces of water bottle plastic to set the action :D the EMG battery we literally loose in the cavity and was shorting. My amp popped so loud I thought I blew a speaker. The 3 locking claps that rest on the string were after market and don't even fit in the nut.

I question how people breath sometimes with a reminder in inhale and exhale every few seconds

This thing is solid now. Posts are solid, new pots, new Floyd nut clamps, truss adjusted, intonated. Still trying to figure out the body wood.

I'll probably go back to black. The EMG 85 had to go and my 84/A2 in cream was all I had laying around and I've already spent enough time on this guitar, I didn't want to wind anything new.
