Recently found a solid deal for a used Jackson RRTMG in silverburst with an SKB V Flight case
Being a big Gibson LP guy or other LP shapes for that matter, I've been a huge fan of the V/Offset V shapes but having an Explorer, I'm growing use to the wonky shapes, so once I seen this, my love for silverburst kicked in and I picked it up.
Never really been a fan of EMG's but I'm thinking I'd be fine playing them in this guitar. I typically run Lace Dissonant Aggressors or Drop and Gains aside from the standard 490R/498T sets in my LP's.
It's bright and snappy yet still has enough low end to thump when chugging. The guitar is super light, very well balanced and really resonant.
Over all, I'm pretty happy with the purchase and I think it's grown on me a lot actually.
Truss rod cover was included - I just had it off adjusting and setting it up.
