The Limited Edition Gibson "Joe Massive Bonna" Les Paul Studio with Antique Gold Top!

I just love the all black back, sides and neck with the slightly darker than ususal antique gold top and black appointments + the chrome grovers just make it a rocker...

This s just a great axe period... I just love Les Paul studios, Gibson makes crappy ones for the most part today but this one is really super nice and floored me when I played it.

It's full traditional weight and not chambered at all, fit and finish are simply superb.

It came with BB3 & BB2, but of course I raped it hard and threw in EMG's + "Joes two differnt kinds of knob configuation" didn't do it for me so went with black knobs and BAM!

After my changes this is one tough axe now... Seriously this junk is tough as seal team 6...!

Whoa.......that is sweet !!! Didn't realize it had a black back on it. Very nice indeed bro and a color combo that almost gives me wood...

The EMG's will raise a stink around here. But, I am with you them and I do like em. :D

I probably would have jetted the pick guard while customizing it. But, that's me.............Congrats too.

Thanks,

Yep the whole guitar is back except for the top... The pics do not do it justice, in person it's even more amazing looking.

I have two other Les Pauls, a VOSR8 and a 1960 Reissue Limited Edition both stock with passives and I just needed to grab a 22 fret 24 3/4 scale axe with EMGS to round things out...

I have been been trying to find one I like for a whole now and this is it baby!

SO NOW IF I COULD JUST SELL THAT BRAND NEW PRE LAWSUIT BODY JAPAN MADE ESP ECLIPSE PAUL LANDERS MODEL I ONLY PLAYED FOR LIKE AN HOUR...

NICE GOLD TOP!

I was going to buy a Gold Top Traditional just like yours and throw the EMGs and then saw the "Massive Bonna" that just came in and bought it instead... It was a bit lighter than the Trad. Gold Top, played like a a dream and + saved 600 bux by going in that direction...

Very nice. Chambered or solid?

It is non-chambered... Weighs more than my custom shop VOS R8!

Very cool. I had the aged chambered one. I think what I didn't like about it was a result of the chambering. Yours is very sweet.

I love the looks of that  Studios are a great bang for the buck. People get off on bashing Gibson, but I have owned numerous Les Pauls (recent and vintage) and have yet to get a lemon. All of them have been perfect.
