The neck is slightly thicker, re-voiced rebel yell pickups, overall it sounds thicker with a nice mid range and sweet top...the guitar plays really nice.

cool - i have the black one and like it but find it a little 'hard' or overly mid-focused at times...if it was a little bit 'fuller' across the eq i would really dig it more, i think

I saw that guitar center Billy Idol special thing and honestly I'm a huge fan of SS but I wasn't overly impress with his tone on that. Kind of fizzy and lacking body and kerang. Sounded as if the amp was at a low volume which maybe it was...Guitar sure is nice though

This one certainly has the low end chunk! I think the combination of the tone pros bridge and slightly larger body on the SS2 filled out the eq accross the board nicely...

That thing is awesome! In my opinion the coolest guitar being made right now. How thick/heavy is it and what is the fretboard radius?

Re-voiced Rebell Yell ? , wonder if thats only for this axe or will BK have a production version. I like the Rebell Yell but If it were a bit fatter sounding all around would be an improvement IMO

Yeah these pickups are different. I have production Rebel Yells in one my LP's. These are a bit hotter and thicker....
