Just picked up a used late 90s Charvel San Dimas. Two piece ash body. 24 fret roasewood board. Single bucker with a two point non-locking trem. I'm super stoked about it. Absolutely killer shred stick. I'll snap some pics when I get home this afternoon. The best part was I only paid $150 for the guitar.

Believe it or not, Guitar Center. I know the 90s MIJ models aren't as sought after, but I cannot impress enough what a killer playing guitar it is. Here is a crappy cell phone pic I took in the store.

Is it a Journeyman? I see them go for $250 now and then, but $150 is definitely a good price for any japanese Charvel.

Honestly, I don't know what model it is. It's got the funky late 90s headstock. I know that they started using that one in 96. So I figure it's between 96 and 00.

For a beater single hum superstrat, that plays great, what a deal! Happy NGD.

The toggle is for series or parallel operation on the pickup. Just ordered a Wilkinson VS100 and some locking tuners. This is gonna be a beast when I get it all set up. Here's a full picture.

Nice score! Looks like a nice 1 pc body which is something that even many expensive strat style builders skimp on these days .

I had one of those Journeyman Charvels, 2002 model I think. I paid 299 for it, definitely good for the money. 150? Wow..congrats!

So I got to play it last night at band practice. What a killer sounding guitar. Fun to play and sounds great.
