NICE!!! :2thumbsup:

Looks very similar to mine. As you can see, I was going for the same look as the Guthrie model, minus the middle single coil and other gizmos. I LOVE my Suhr Moderns! :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:

Yeah, I requested that they give me a maple top like Guthrie's instead of the more traditional "straight" flame found on a lot of guitars. (which I like, but already have on guitars that I own) Kinda gives it a nice leopard look. Really dig the flame on yours though! As far as the woods you went with....I've got a Modern that is scheduled to be done this month (I hope)....that will have a basswood body/maple top and neck. After hearing yours in action, I can't wait to get my hands on it!

How is the action? I've got an S4 but still not liking all the string buzz, have had it returned to Suhr, but even after their set-up I still get a lot of buzz that seems unreasonable for $2000 guitar.

Seems perfectly fine to me, I like a fairly low action and not much relief in the neck so there's some buzz around the first few frets as you would expect. Fret buzz doesn't bother me in the slightest, I rarely play on clean.

Here's a quick demo:

I had to watch that in 720p in youtube just for sheer jaw-dropping beauty of it!

Congrats on the Suhr, they Suhr do make great guitars. I love my Guthrie, I think my next one will be basswood w/baked maple neck.

Push-pull pots for coil splitting? Sounded like you split the pickups to on the video to me at some point. May have just been the 5 way switch. Incredible guitar!!! I'm going to be saving up for a suhr modern eventually.
I should probably elaborate on my previous answer to your question, there is no push-pull coil splitter but in position 2 you get the front coil of the humbucker I believe and position 4 you get the inside coils from both.
