Well, it's been a pretty exciting two years.. I found my RG550 and modified it, found a really great condition RG565 and modified that too!, and now I finally got a RG770 in Lazer Blue to round out the heard!!! It's all stock right now, but that's A.OK. with me .

They're all early 90's/late 80's, none of that reissue bullshit!

I'm done buying/trading guitars for a long while now. I'm sure there's some really obscure Ibanez model that's blue with maple board, I'll find it eventually

Nice guitars, the 565 being my favorite guitar of all time. I`ve got a pretty exciting Ibanez collection going on myself, old ones also, only recent one is an RG1527GW.

Don't forget the RG3XXV 25th Anniversary that was just released. Although it sounds like it is typical Indo quality, it is Laser Blue with a Maple neck, and come with Dimarzios. Even though it is not a Prestige or a Premier, I am give one a shot.

Awesome work my friend! A 1991 RG770DXLB was my first "stage guitar" and I still have it. Picked up an RG770DXVM in immaculate condition along the way and also scored a player condition RG565EG. Going to give one of the RG3XX models a go!

I don't want to really mess with any of the reissued stuff, besides being made in Indonesia, the neck profiles are a tiny bit different and doesn't have the Original Edge trem. All the older stuff is MIJ

I've read/seen two different sets of specs for the 3XXv RI, one states Ash body, the shows basswood. If it's ash, I'd be interested.

It's basswood. The Japanese site, and the early listings for stores had it wrong.
