Charvel USA Production SO CAL in Pagan Mold...

I found a dealer that had one NIB and untouched by human hands... what a SCORE!

Date of Manufacture was 2008 under the pickgard

I yanked the Dimarzios instnatly and threw in some zebra Suckmore Duncans... A JB in the bridge and a Alnico APH-1 in the neck,,,

I love this guitar to death and the Alnico APH-1 in the neck is just super rightous and I find it much better then a 59 by leaps and bounds...

These are such kiler axes... I'm on a binge to buy more!

I did sound pretty cool with the Dimarzios, but the Duncans sound much better to me... Way more harmonics and much more smoother. The Alnico II is just my new fav neck pickup now.

It's got G12-H30's, sounds amazing with the JVM and pretty much any amp I have played through it. Just finished tracking my bands EP with the JVM, Splawn Quickrod and Nitro using this cab, the tones are massive....

i have a 59 in the neck of one les paul, and an alnico 2 pro in the necks of all my others.

the 59 is cleaner sounding, more...clear and well rounded sounding, definitely a great pickup, but more mellow and kinda uncolored, and they REALLY match well with any solid state rig...some of dimebag's best solo's were on a 59. again, a great pickup, and for someone that wants less pickup coloration, and more of the guitar's natural wood sound unenhanced...almost like amplifying the guitar's "sound" acoustically , i'd go with this.

the alnico 2pro (not the slash model, i dont have that one) sings longer, is more vocal, and throaty. i love this pickup in any humbucker guitar...it really enhances and brings out the best in the guitar's natural electric sounds that tend to want to sing and overtone etc..

the 59 is like wearing regular grey sunglasses.

the alnico is like wearing semi-dark amber polarized sunglasses.

not that i look at the world through rose colored glasses....

That ol' piece of Pagan mold looks pretty stellar if I do say so myself. I personally would reverse those zebras but that's just me. On a completely un-related note... two JVM's man? That there is commitment!
