sorry yes.... my Japanese grammer sucks as well (Im american I just live here)
asked about what stores to go to and the last question was about music stores in akihabara.
Akihabara really only has two guitar stores that I know of and one I cant remember the name off hand. when I find it Ill post the link. the other is another ikebe shop there.
Its just a bit off the beaten path of electric town down a side street. Its ok. heavy on fenders and decent amount of stop boxes.

I assume that regardless you will hit akiba so why not hit ikebe there as well thats what I do. Otherwise I wouldn't say Akiba would be a specific place just for music stores and to stick with Shibuya and ochanomizu.
the pic of ikebe in in shibuya with the 80s effects well... most of them aren't for sale. (head trip, some lexicon stuff, GCX rack mix, some eventide stuff, I think one of the SE+ isnt for sale) I have a feeling that the store is holding on to them for about 10 more years to sell them at higher prices. don't know that just a guess. that particular store was consolidated with ikebe amp station that is about 30 feet away from where that particular store was.
gear will be allot more exspensive here (check out the price of a new xtc custom here) so if you are thinking to buy gear here make sure that there is somethign specific that you rae looking for and that it isnt available in the states. i.e. a strobo stomp you can get anyplace, a mint 59 strat (or a mint 89 PRS for that matter!) you cant but you can find one here.
http://www.digimart.net/ is going to be your best resource for finding stuff if there is something specific you want.
some other pics of the new one that are a little but not much better than the ones I took before.
