Been on a bit of a tear lately after going about a year with no purchases. Arrived today. Got a good deal on a used PRS McCarty 594 in Jet White. The phone pics below makes it look a little off white maybe, but it's jet white, looks classy, feels amazing and plays outstanding. Took it out of the case, strummed it and it was still in tune minus the G was a barely a hair flat, thought that was pretty cool as it was shipped from CT to GA.

I tried a 594 single cut several years ago. It was amazing, but heavy as hell (about 9 lbs) and it was so nice I was always scared to ding it. So I traded it away for a PRS Custom 22 plus a good bit of cash. Still have the Custom 22 (pictured in the rear below) and still loving it. Anyway, I loved the short scale length of the 594 and wanted to try one again that I could play and not so damn heavy. So came across this one and pulled the trigger.

Looks killer, especially since the top is While and they left the rest el natural.
Is that a Hagen I spy in your amp rack?

Like many guitars, the pics don't do it justice. I was blown away when I opened the case.

Yep that's a Hagen, my favorite amp, play it daily.

Looks awesome. How tall are the frets? I've read the 594s use Jescar 57110 frets that are ground down a bit?

I don't have a way to measure other than using my finger to feel how tall they are. The frets feel the same across the 594, CE24, Custom 22 and the McCarty. They're not jumbo but definitely not low. I feel like I'd say they are medium/tall. My Caparisons have jumbo and they are larger for sure, can feel the difference easily. But it's not night and day difference or anything to me.

Thanks! Normal PRS use 47104, which are too low for me. DGT, Santana, and Paul's use the 57110 I think. I'd heard the 594 where something in between but I guess not.

Well I could be off a bit, so it could be in between but close. I just couldn’t tell much of any difference by rubbing my finger over the frets. They felt the same or very close.
