Parts guitar.

Locke Northern Ash body that's really heavy, and the paint job by Jose at JR Customs. Neck was built by Matt at OC Customs/Chubtone with their #1 neck shape. German Floyd, Duncan Frankenstein pickup. Switch is just for looks.

Heavier than my LP Custom and my ESP Kamikaze. I'll need to put it on a scale eventually.

Dam cool!!! Tell us about the Strat style 3-way? Coil tap with more traditional cosmetics?

Killer, killer guitar!

FWIW - I have an oil finished Musikraft Hard Ash Strat body that is definitely the heaviest guitar I have ever owned - and one of if not the best sounding. I gotta' sit it on a scale and I'll post a reply with the assembled weight of the guitar.

Thanks. Switch is just for looks.

The volume knob wound up being a little closer to the bridge than I would like. I might have to get another pick guard.

Looks killer! And, that neck is as good as any USA Charvel that I have here, I'll bet. Maybe better.

So that is a Chubtone neck? I didn’t think they sold necks. #1 shape is great but as I get older I am favoring more C shaped necks. I love their #2 shape nowadays.

Where did you get the purple sparkle one?
It's a mutt. The neck is a Charvel US custom shop neck with brass side dots and rosewood inlays. The neck is the best I've played. The body is a KnE that sent to Marty Bell to do the paint. The bridge is from Merlin5. The original body was damaged from a drop from a rich drunk Dallas attorney. I bought the box of parts for a few hundred dollars

I'm a big fan of single humbucker strats.
Love it .

Nice guitar!! Can you feel the strings resonate thru the ash body? I guess not with the Floyd.
I had that volume knob problem on my Squier 70s CV. Did the Joe Holmes solution, moved it to a new hole, left the old one blank.
I say drill that sucker.

I played a $6g Fender Custom shop HSS the other day with a Frankenstein bridge pup. Sounded great through an SLO.
If you ever get tired of it, the "Whiskey" prototype in Scott's ash Tokai has a killer growwwwl to it, and single notes bloomed into sweet harmonics.
I think that's the one he said was closest to the SD RTM, @scottosan ?

Anyway, enjoy that guitar! I bet it sounds killer.

When I say close to the RTM, mainly in the midrange voicing and feel. The top end on the Whiskey isn't as subdued. I'm getting some more accurate test equipment in tomorrow so that I can better the resonant peaks of these.

At this point, I'm getting testing fatigue. :D

Pretty sure I'd prefer your pup with the xtra highs.
