I’m beyond help at this point, but it was a killer deal, lol.

Japanese are very particular with wanting guitars that are unmodded. What is considered an upgrade in the US will decrease the value of a guitar.

I see this pretty guitar at a great price translate the tag. They claimed it was a “modded” 2013 Les Paul Standard Plus and had a sheet on how to use all of the modded switching. They think it’s a premium plus. I think it’s just a plus doesn’t matter. I look up the specs and I’m reading that the 2013s had all of the switching stock. It was in great condition and marked at $1280 after tax. I get it home and sure enough it’s the stock PCB switching.

Looks fantastic! You are just killing it with the bargain shopping lol

Nice find. Im surprised they didn't know what they had. Last time i was in Tokyo they were educating me on most everything.
Especially the 70s ibanez and yamahas

Because at Ochanomizu in Tokyo those are actually music stores. Most of my finds are at second hand stores. It hit or miss on alot of things. This same store has some 90s Korean Grecos marked and mid 80s Japanese Grecos.

Ironically, they’re detailed enough to verify truss rod clearance, fret life, and string height on inspection cards and give you 6 month warranty’s though.
