So after ups failing to deliver I finally got my A1.6D. Really enjoying the Evertune. Looks much better in perso and I couldn't be happier. Stainless frets, locking tuners, luminlay, and evertune.

Nice looking guitar! I never got along with Evertune but I really like the idea of the concept.

Sweet looking guitar though

Congrats on arrival.
Looks good, what are those specs, body neck and pickups?
Looks like mahogany but could be walnut?

Very nice! I've been toying with the idea of getting an Evertune equipped Solar for a while, just have to talk myself into it a bit more.

The neck is Maple with Ebony fret board. The body is Alder. The pick ups are stock Duncan Solar. Which are medium output I think are based on Custom 5 and a 59. I usually swap them out for Nazgul/Sentient out of preference. With this one I was going to go black winter but honestly I'm digging the stock ones in this model.

The tuners are Solar branded locking tuners but they are a lot nicer than the Grover ones in my Solar S1.6.

I spent yesterday going over all of it and familiarizing myself with the evertune. It's really nice to get a guitar that has great specs and that's playable out if the box. The only issue I have is the action isn't as low as I typically go but I always take my guitars to my tech for a setup and pickup swap.

All in all it was $1240 shipped but an import fee of $59 bucks and $12 "brokerage fee". I've had this one on order since April so I'm glad to finally have it home.
