I've been on the hunt for one of these parametric EQ's back when TC Electronics was made in Germany for a very long time. They're hard to find in decent condition and one popped up for sale in Japan that I couldn't resist grabbing. Even with a flat EQ, they add something to the sound that I just love. My plan is to use it in the effects loop as a final tone shaping tool or for a stereo rig in the far future.

I was surprised that there wasn't a dedicated on/off switch. You either apply power via AC or you don't. I've considered adding a small push-button style on/off switch to make it more user-friendly. Still undecided since these are getting very hard to find.

Needless to say I'm super stoked to finally grab one! They sound super badass!

One of the best pieces of gear I ever owned. I hope you enjoy the hell out of it.

Congrats!

I've read that these are killer....

They are really good and quiet too. I always liked that you could adjust the volume so that when the GEQ was engaged, you didn’t get an increase of drop.

You had some old vids running one in the loop of your CCV but you took them down ages ago. It all started there, so I'm totally blaming you for this one Dave

Yeah they have an amazing tone to them. Have always liked the 2240 more than the Furman PQ series
