This is hands down the best playing Tele I have ever owned or played. Just completely awesome. Set up perfectly out of the box and still in tune. I literally opened it about an hour ago and have been playing it since. Loving this thing.

Just saw this on Facebook. Love it!! What a killer looking T. I really like the looks of the Translucent Blonde and maple neck. I would love to play one of these. The cover band I just joined plays a couple of Eagles tunes. This would totally fit the bill.

Congrats on the New TAG Day!!

Thanks, Chad! Your guitar looks killer as well. Your collection is badass.

Beautiful...congrats!!! You can get different, but you can't get better than Anderson.

That looks so killer J!!!!!!!! Now bust with the clips!!!!!!

Congrats!

Great choice on the neck shape.

I love the oversized Even Taper with the 1 5/8ths width; so comfortable.

Nice. Beefed up neck profile, non-ashtray bridge and neck bucker should make this a fat sounding Teletubby

Humbucker in neck is sweet. I can hang with the 30 over neck profile but, wow 70 over is a bit much for my hands!

It's not near as big as you'd think. I love it as I was going for a Vintage/Modern type of vibe when I spec'd this guitar. Ash body maple neck/board (50's) but with contours and a humbucker in the neck. Came out better than I thought.

The neck is so comfortable and I really believe that a thicker neck on a Tele sounds better. Call me crazy but all the Teles I have loved have had bigger necks.

I agree with that sentiment. I've had a number of teles, and the best of them have always had girthy necks. My current CS Esquire included.

Beautiful guitar. Anderson makes a great one.

Right on. I honestly think neck and fingerboard wood have more to do with a guitar's tone than body wood. The string has more contact with that wood and other than when fretting supr high on the neck, the string vibrates more over the fingerboard than the body.

When choosing pickups I usually use the fingerboard wood as the deciding factor whether a particular pickup will work or not.

I think that's a reasonable theory based on "common knowledge" that unfortunately doesn't hold up in reality to a large enough degree. I used to take a similar approach but I've simply come across too many guitars that exhibit little of the tonal characteristics that their construction says they should have. Bright, snappy rosewood fretboards...dull, dead sounding maple necks...bright, airy mahogany bodies...the list goes on. Ebony fingerboards are about the only thing that I've come across that seem to exhibit consistent results and unfortunately its nothing I care for (overly bright/harsh on a solid body electric under medium/low gain conditions).

Jason and a Tele. Pinch myself :D

I do like T's though. Always predictable and true, not matter what you throw it front of. I bet the Andy is a nice one.
