NGD: ugly stick (Ibanez 1527M)

Been wanting a maple board 7 string and got this for a good price. It's in such good shape! :lol:

Original owner had painted it with neon green house paint, and turns out there was another layer of something under there and looks like he started to strip the original white finish with a heat gun but aborted after just burning the edges.

I started stripping layers off and got bored. I think it looks kinda cool like this, actually.

The neck is immaculate and it plays awesome at least.
 
Thanks guys! I've had a good number of Ibanez 7s, and this one I really love. The look is growing on me. Probably will refinish at some point, but it's fun as-is for now. I like the idea of a vintage white or sonic/Daphne blue. 2-tone or 3-tone Fender sunburst would be cool, too, but I think I'd want to add a pickguard with a sunburst.
 
I love that. I don't like any of the stock IBZ 7 paintjobs and have refinished every one I've had. Yours is awesome.
 
I have one of these and I find the paint job,Galaxy White, to be an awesome colour, I love that guitar. It plays like a dream. I'd try and restore it to original. They are becoming hard to find.
