It's been a busy few weeks. Purged some gear and then replenished a little. First is a 2016 Les Paul Traditional. I got a killer deal on a dent and scratch, ($1399) bought it sight unseen. Limited edition with no weight relief and zebra pickups.
I have yet to find a dent or scratch on it. Came as new with tags, case and paperwork. It's in perfect shape and is an overall stellar guitar.
Next I went to GC yesterday to grab some straplocks for the new LP. I brought along my Washburn acoustic thinking I may trade it in on a smaller more compact acoustic if I could find something. I tried 3 Ibanez that I thought I wanted, they all had some buzzy frets. Tried a few Taylors, pretty nice. I tried a Breedlove Discovery that was only $399. The thing was awesome. Played real easy, kind of felt like an electric. The back of the neck is a matte wood finish that is super smooth. I Then I tried a $3500 Taylor just for comparision and actually wanted to go back and play the Breedlove. So they gave me a decent trade in on my Washurn and I walked out with it. Check one out if you get the chance.
