Y'all are gonna hate ALL of this I am sure! LOL!
I did that Diamond Amps F4 vid from NAMM and gotta be honest, not only did I really like the amp BUT I really liked the Renegade guitar I played in the vid. Been eyeing this guitar and the Black/Red one for a minute now. Technically they are most everything I DON'T like in a guitar. EMG's, Thin Body and SG style. Damn if I don't really dig this though. I only had enough time to haul it home, unbox it and give it a look over. Made at WMI as far as I know and not too dissimilar to other guitars I have played from there. Fret ends/dressing are excellent, Grover tuners, EMG's, RW board, no glue seepage around the inlays and from a FEEL aspect it plays excellent out of the box (action needs lowered a bit) and no cosmetic issues to speak of. It also is bigger than an SG in overall body size although it is like an Ibanez S in construction (but set neck). Neck feels similar to my G&L/Balaguer necks in terms of shape.
Nit picky... the top green stripe comes a LITTLE farther over the edge of the guitar by the top horn than the others. This is me trying to find something to complain about.
I'll plug it in tonight and give it a good rogering.
Then I also got some things from Fortin. Have a few pedalboards I am working on for different applications. One will be specifically for the Gemini. I really don't use any effects with it so the Hydra MIDI controller is for that. Also got the Fuzz, Spliff and Roach.
