NGD: x2 Aria Urchins U100 & Deluxe Pix & Video

I recently came across two Aria Pro II Urchins that I couldnt pass up. A deluxe model, and the U100

Here's a quick jam, plugged into my vox practice amp. Not nearly as good as many of you guys here, so forgive my fumbles

Here's the U100 Ash Wings, Walnut Stripes, Maple Neck. DiMarzio Dual Sound Pickups, brass nut, MOP inlays, recessed bridge etc



Look at the action on the U100, Ive never seen a guitar that can actually play at this low of action. .

I know you're curious so here's the control layout


All the wires! Have to be a genius to figure this out


And the Deluxe, alder body, flamed maple veneer, matching headstock, 3 piece maple neck with quarter sawn center

Definitely one of my favorite guitars for sure. It's unmatched for playability, and quality is way up there too. And absolutely Jalanese guitars rule! Well, some anyway, gotta find the right ones. My 3 urchins play as good as or better than most US stuff.

Most people haven't, these were only made in the early 80's from 82-84 most people say. I have another one that based on the serial # was likely made in 81. In fact you don't even see these come up for sale very much online, and when you do they are typically pretty pricey. I only know of one deluxe anywhere for sale, and it's at $1k, the U100's go for much more, and for good reason, they are far and away the highest quality Urchin model.
