Picked up a Washburn MG 102...fantastic playing/sounding axe. Grover Jackson was in charge of Washburn USA back in 93-96..these were built in Chicago. Great deals in the used market...350 for a USA built guitar!

Wow, I've never ever seen one. Wouldn't mind trying one out. Looks great. Enjoy.

Thanks! Washburn's not a very good resale value guitar..but I heard about these and have been on the lookout. They also made the mg series in Korea, so it should say USA on the headstock. I've heard of them going as low as 200...this guitar feels and plays like a USA built Jackson should. Awesome. Great bang for the buck! Old school JB/59 combo, ash body...and Wilkinson trem. Stays in tune very well for a non locking trem...

Oh man...I might have to keep my eye out for one of these in my area. Too cheap to pass up!

Congrats.

Yeah man, great score!
That Wilki trem is one of my favs. Didn't know they made it back then. It's a great design.
Enjoy!!!

I have one of these, great guitar.

Yeah! These aren't just decent cheap guitars...they compete favorably with guitars costing 1500 or more...my Charvel Custom has a different feel to it but I'm enjoying this Washburn almost as much. I'm on the lookout for #2....
