I bought this ibanez rgt in really good condition for $200. This might be the best $200 I have ever spent. This thing is a solid guitar. I might block the tremolo and change the pickups.

How did you find that deal? I would definitely change the pups but I bet that is gonna scream.

Never played a neckthru Ibanez and I must say I'm a bit jealous.

Do you know what model it is? Looks exactly like my RGT42, save for the color and the access holes in the Floyd cover on the back. I bought it brand new for $300 around 15 years ago (it was a discounted, closeout item I found at a store online). I also blocked the trem and put new pups in it (Dimarzio Tone Zone/Air Norton).

What are the specs on these? Wood types? Which neck model?

Korean made, Bass body, Rosewood fretboard, jumbo frets, Wizard 2 neck (don't remember the neck wood, sorry). I think mine has the Edge Pro II bridge and the reason it was a close-out item when I bought it was because the new ones had come out that had the supposedly improved Edge III bridge.

I don't think is basswood probably mahogany . It's heavier than my 1527.

Those are definitely mahogany bodied.
