I picked up this Ibanez JBM27 in a trade. Nice guitar. Very resonant. The previous owner had installed a Duncan Nazgul/ Sentient set. I will be installing a set of BKP Polymaths in it later today. I always forget how much I like Ibanez guitars. I do think that I will swap out the gold tuners for a set of black ones. And possibly look for a Lo Pro Edge 7- so I can get rid of the bar collar that doesn't want to stay tight...

I would have gone with a Grumblebort or a Snugfuck 5000 in the bridge. But that's a stellar looking Ibz. Still miss my power 540. Such a fuck head for selling it way back when. Love reverse headstock Ibz's

I actually like the Nazgul. I had one in a baritone for years. It is a very punchy pickup in the right guitar. That whole feel it kick you in the gut type of thing. While the top end is warm but clear. I've been wanting to check out the Polymaths for a while now and figured this was a good excuse. lol! Plus I thought the crazy cover on it would complement the guitar.

You didn't like the sentient? I had one body mounted in my Viper when I got it but it wasn't very adjustable, couldn't dial the brightness out cause I couldn't lower it enough and I planned on installing rings and other pups anyways so I didn't get to demo it well. It seemed generally bright, which would seem to be good for metal but I don't chug so just a guess. I didn't want to horse around trying to get it ring mounted so I sold it and the pegasus both.
 
Happy NGD. Too many strings and Floyd’s for me but it looks badass!
 
Clean axe man looks as good as it sounds...... and that is pure tits.
