Pretty killer out of the box, restring and setup. Sounds and plays great. Of course I've hardly spent any time with it but im thinking she is a keeper.

Made in China, Floyd 1000 and idk what cheap tuners but im pretty impressed. No QC issues at all and while I can say the MIJ neck is probably 2% better for me (shoulders seem a little flatter on this pro plus) it still feels great and I like it a lot.

Got it purely for the paint job and to have a better 2nd guitar than my Charvel. Mission complete. I do wish they would add better paint jobs to the MIJ line but whatever. Not disappointed.

I put an OFR on my 88 charvel and it made a huge difference for the better. Highly recommend going with the real deal even on a guitar that’s hard to justify it for.

Its an 1986 Model 2. I just got it a few months ago. Was going to be my backup for shows but im going to list it for sale soon after getting this.

My Mij neck is slightly better for me but this one is still great.

Also comparing a soloist vs. A dinky so it's more about that than where it's made i think.

Either way i love this guitar, need to adjust to the Duncan distortions. May or May not swap
