I'm going to go in order of most recent acquisition first:
So I went to GC last night and spotted something that looked cool and sounded great. The build quality and features had my shaking my head in disbelief that it was from 1979! So today I took my 1982 Ibanez Artist AR50 that I picked up 2 months ago that had a similar vibe and brought it to GC today hoping that they'd do an even swap and they did
1979 Washburn (Wing) Falcon
This is MIJ just like the Ibanez I traded in was but the 5-piece neck and the translucent stain of the finish just grabbed me. It sounded better than that particular Ibanez too so hence the NGD.
Can you believe this guitar had push pull pots for coil tapping factory installed back in 1979! It is heavy like the Artist was and just as thick as an LP. Neck profile is 50's ish too.
