Got it back a couple of weeks ago but haven’t posted. Finally got my first partscaster back from the luthier. It took almost a year because he’s the best in the city and really backlogged. Warmoth Soloist body, mahogany with a flame maple top. The neck is from my 2005 American Strat Deluxe that the body met an untimely death due to a very heavy bookend accidentally getting pushed off my computer desk by my less than sober ass one night 10 years ago. It’s been re-radiused to 10-14 compound. Re-fretted with 6105 stainless frets. OFR. Duncan 78 bridge, DiMarzio Area 61 neck. I seem to have wired them out of phase cause the middle position is instant wah. I may keep it. I’ll probably never use them both together in this guitar anyway and it sounds kinda cool

Looks good. How do you like the MXR/EVH knobs?
I had gold dome knobs on it because they were laying around and it looked like too much gold. The MXR knobs are much better. However, I put Bournes zero friction pots in and I’m not sure I dig them.

The Areas are different polarity than some of their others IIRC. Had the same thing happen to me with Areas and a Jalen Origin ('78 type).

I like the MXR knobs too. Just curious how you liked them. They are easy to grab and turn on the fly. The white pointer stripe is useful too.
I also have the Bournes LF pot on a guitar. It takes a minute to get used to but I like it.
Congrats on the build.

Looks killer, now post a pic of the one that met up with the bookend lol
