Awfully nice of the Caps to help us with that last goal. Ugly win or not I'll take it. The Caps fans wanted a penalty at the end and didn't get it. There were a ton of penalties in this series that didn't get called. This one went the Pens way and I couldn't be happier.


As for Crosby being a crybaby... Don't see it. Don't understand why people think that. Don't care. He's one of the best hockey players I've ever watched in my 37 years of watching hockey and I'm glad he's with the Pens. As for his detractors... suk my nuts!

Doesn't matter who from the East wins that conference. No one is beating the Red Wings especially the Guins. We disposed of the Penguins easily last year and will do it again this year. Crosby can't hold a candle to Datsyuk or Zetterberg or Hossa. Heck not sure he is even as good as Franzen.

I took my family to the shopping mall tonite and they had Hurricanes flags and banners on every damn pole, ceiling beam and any other thing they could get some velcro on. Raleigh n.c. Home of the Hurricanes. Penguins have a good team. ALWAYS ENTERTAINING. Stuck in the Raleigh area though.

That is true. I think this team is much more mature. Anything can happen in the quest for the cup. The only player I am worried about is Osgood but so far he is hanging tough. I did like the Penguins when Mario played for them just can't stand Crosby.

Kovalchuk is a nothing player on a go-nowhere team. How many times has he been suspended? He's like Ovie Light. All the douche with half the skill. Him waving at Crosby will be the highlight of his career unless he ends up as a third liner on a decent team someday. He thinks the playoffs are only four games long because that's all he's ever seen.

As for the first video, if you saw the whole game you'd have a different opinion of the situation. Well, you probably wouldn't, because you're drinking the "Cindy" kool-aid. But if you put that little snippet of video in context, it makes a lot more sense.

He's looking for an edge. You don't think he's looking to get under Ovechkin's skin? Kill some of the momentum and take them off their game? He's the captain. It's his job to talk to the refs and lobby for his team.

In the same game, Ovechkin bumped into a player at center ice, clutched his face like he'd been shot, and immediately turned to the refs clutching his face. Problem is, nothing touched his face. And they blew the whistle and gave him the call. Pathetic.

They need to do something about diving in this game and the only way to do that is only call a penalty on the diver...if I barely touch you and your wussy ass drops like a pile of bricks...your ass goes to the box and only your ass. Then they should put the dive score up on the big scoreboard

This used ot be a mans game and you'd fight through that kinda of thing...if you didnt, it showed a sign of weakness and that is something hockey players never want to show. Now too many players are stong as ox on their feed drop like they got shot with a shotgun from a little love tap just to get a call...I hate than.
