Anybody still have a "Burning Rain" Marshall anymore? Nick AKA Dawnofdreams performed the mods. That's one amp I really regret selling...

I had Nick do that mod to a Red Bear 60w chassis, Russian 6L6 plexi clone. Gave it to my son for part of his HS grad present. He calls it "Frankenstein" lol. I think it was close to a Cameron Aldrich? Cool amp, I think Nick got it back to me in like 2 weeks..

I think he said it was a cross between an Aldrich and an Uberschall. It definitely had some Aldrich DNA, and it did have that big, murky, thick, loose bottom of an Uber. I would clean boost it with an OD-9 and it was vicious. Tightened it up just enough, but it retained that thickness. Been missing that amp lately. It would be perfect for the original band I'm doing now.

I don't other than his name here, 'Dawnofdream97' I believe. He did post a couple months back I think ...but not very often anymore.

Yeah, I still have mine! Nick really made the head flexible, as seen in the video of it above. Lots of push-pull knobs, extra gain stages, and of course the "thunder" push-pull knob on the back which can yield several megatons of wallop! Mids cut through like you'd expect from a Marshall, and no problem dialing it in from vintage brown to nuclear assault, reining in the bass or using it to level buildings. :D

I still have mine Nick did for me. Great amp. I dont use it a lot these days, but its nice to have when you want to get heavy.

That was fantastic! I really dig that tone(s).

I'm here guys.... not much free time these days as i've shifted gears and i'm running an audio production and sound company full time of my own. . . glad you dig the amps though... the one in the video is something different, that had 3 gain controls and some different things going... listening back, i still dig it! =) its not like a elan mod or fortin mod with the 3 gain controls, it's something different.
