I don't use the trem at all really. I only bought it cause a local music store teamed up with a radio station for a small business auction. The guitar wasn't bid on...so I swooped it up for $400. Talk about a steal! It is a great guitar though. Love the neck and finish. I would recommend it. The pickups are so so...DiMarzio designed but not quite the real deal. I do think the bridge pickup sounds pretty good though for what it is...somewhat hot and good for high gain. The guitar is worth the money.

good to know, thanks. I recently picked up a new RG321MHE for my son on a great deal, and it turned out to be a killer guitar! It's actually given me the itch to snag another Ibanez for myself. Oh, and $400 is a steal, $1200 for that rig is an insane price.
