My father is Catholic. My mother was from a baptist family and converted to Catholicism to get my dad to go to church again cause he was fed up with protestant churches and wouldn't go anymore. We were raised evangelical. I studied Messianic Judaism for a few years. My wife was Lutheran. My brother is a Baptist that I can barely talk christianity with. I brought my entire household to Orthodoxy because my son wanted to go to a church and I wasn't going to a protestant church ever again.
