I am not anti Christian, I’m not even anti religion. It’s a free-ish country, do as you please. I personally believe it’s all a man made construct designed to control people and consolidate power, which it seems to me runs counter to the teachings of Christ, but again, I am filled with ennui.

You can't ascribe the failing of mortal men to the creator. It's a false equivalency. People have passions, which are weaknesses. Is it God's fault that some people lust for power and cash, others for fancy materials and worldly possessions, other to sex?

That's agnostic. Which is possible to be intelligent and agnostic at the same time. Atheism discounts a creator entirely. Which is ignorant until someone can prove that we (beings of this universe) created the universe.

Islam is like orthodoxy without Christ. Much of what they believe is borrowed from orthodoxy. The prayer rule. 5x daily which is like your 3x daily orthodox routine plus mealtime prayers. You won't find other denominations bowing low, their faces to the floor. The antiochan orthodox refer to God as Allah.

Yes actually it is considered by most to be a historical book. If you don't believe Christ existed then you aren't even in line with the archaeology. I can get that you don't believe he is the son of God but if you are denying his existence it's like denying George Washington is real. It's established historical data..
